atherine (Cat) Bruce has lived in the Orlando area her entire life. She shares her home with 5 cats, various salt and fresh water fish, 20 frogs, a ball python, a hedgehog, 2 canaries, and her husband Bryan. She has owned and cared for many different types of animals over the years: cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, turtles, hermit crabs, rabbits, birds, snakes, hedgehogs and guinea pigs. She was involved with the Future Farmers of America in school, where she raised steers and pigs for showing. She has also worked at a local dinner show riding and caring for their horses.

Her love for animals has been reflected in the many volunteer service hours she has contributed to the Orlando Humane Society and the Back to Nature wildlife refuge. Before getting into the pet sitting business, she was a veterinary technician at a small practice in Orlando.

Cat's mission for the PetsFirst staff is to provide the nurturing care and reassuring love that animals need the most when stressed by the absence of their people "family". She is acutely aware of the need to feel that one's home and pets are secure and happy in order to accomplish the goals of travel.
